Great Space Chase Laser Show
April 7-11, 2014 Monday-Friday at 12:30pm
An out of this world educational laser show highlighting the planets and solar system featuring music from science fiction films and space-themed rock. The Intergalactic Accelerator Suit has been stolen! Lieutenant Photeus and the computer glitch, Thacker, set off in hot pursuit of the sinister Captain Zenon. Learn about the Solar System and the universe around us with this exciting, music-filled laser show. Songs include tunes by Madonna, U2, Paul Okenfold, Monty Python and Red Nexx. Recommended for ages 4 and older. Check out the play list for the show.

Skies of Michigan Tonight
April 7-11, 2014 Monday-Friday at 2:00pm
Early Spring is a great time for stargazing.  Orion the Hunter and other Winter constellations are still visible and Leo the Lion leads the Spring stars high in the east.  In the evening we have giant Jupiter outshining everything but the Moon, Mars at its closest since 2007 and Saturn and Venus in the morning.  Join our Astronomer for this live look at the Spring Skies of Michigan.

Exhibit at Sloan Museum

SPACE: A JOURNEY TO OUR FUTURE is created to ignite your desire for discovery, sparking your imagination, and inspiring new generations of explorers to dream of the possibilities that lie ahead.  National Aeronautics and Space Administration is one of the educational collaborators for the exhibit. Made possible by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Bishop International Airport, and the Friends of Sloan*Longway.
