General Motors employees must show company identification and local union number is required for UAW Members to receive free admission. Sloan Museum hours on Thursdays are 10:00am until 8:00pm and on Sundays 12 noon to 5:00pm.
“We wanted as many people as possible to see the Sit-Down Strike exhibit with their families,” said Sloan*Longway Director, Tim Shickles. “By extending the celebration and continuing free admission, we hope many UAW members and General Motors employees are able to take advantage of the gift UAW Region 1-C and General Motors has provided. The extended hours will allow children to also enjoy our newest exhibit, Discover Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Creatures.”
