Birthday Parties at Sloan Museum or Longway Planetarium

Looking for a new and exciting place to host the best birthday party ever? Hold your child's next Birthday Party at Sloan Museum or Longway Planetarium! Children of all ages (yes, grown-ups - that means you too!) are welcome to join us for a fun and educational experience to celebrate that special day. All birthday party reservations are booked for 2 hours in a semi-private room with free Museum or Planetarium admission for the day for you and your guests. You will also have a Birthday Party Coordinator the day of to assist you with your event. Each package includes the use of a semi-private room for 2 hours and includes up to 30 people (additional people are just $10 each). Parents are also welcome to bring food or have it delivered to you party location AND we provide the cake! Packages start at $300. For more information and to reserve your spot call 810.237.3427. Each party has a dedicated Staff Member, who will:
• Set up and clean up your party room
• Lead a themed activity (if needed-for an additional fee)

Party Extras
We have a wide variety of activities for your group to enjoy doing your party. The following items below can be added to your package at any time as long as you notify the Rentals Coordinator at least two weeks in advance of your scheduled party. Any add-on request made after the two weeks deadline may not be available.

Reserving your Party Space
Dates and times will be subject to availability. Please reserve your birthday party in advance. You may call or send your request via e-mail to the contact information below. Your reservation is guaranteed when your deposit is received. Our parties are very popular so book early.  

Payments and Cancellations
A 50% deposit of the package price is required upon booking. The remaining balance is due no less than a week prior to the party. All deposits and payments must be paid with a major credit card. If you must cancel, your party may be rescheduled for any available date at no additional cost. Any cancelation made 3 weeks prior to the event will result in a 50% loss of the security deposit. Any event canceled within 3 weeks of the event will result in 100% loss of the security deposit.
